Adrian Lyles is only 20 years old, but he’s already doing big things in both music and acting. You might know him as Jet from Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. But now, Adrian is focusing on something even more personal, his music.
Adrian grew up in Dallas, Texas. He started playing piano when he was just 3 years old and began singing at age 11. He went to a special school for the arts and performed all over Texas and the country as a teen. By 13, he was already singing his own songs and covers at live shows several nights a week.
In 2022, he joined HSMTMTS and performed the original song “Right Place”, which became a hit with millions of streams and even got him a nomination for a Hollywood Music in Media Award. He came back for season 4 of the show and kept growing his fanbase.
But Adrian isn’t just about acting, he’s a talented songwriter too. In 2023, he had his first professional writing session and has already written over 150 songs for his upcoming album. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in pop, like Oak Felder, Johan Carlsson, and Max Martin. He’s also building a close group of young writers and producers to create something fresh and real.
What makes Adrian stand out is how real and honest his music feels. He doesn’t try to be perfect, he just wants to share his true feelings about life, love, and growing up. His songs are emotional, heartfelt, and relatable.
Coming soon, Adrian is dropping a brand-new single called “CONCRETE BOY”, which will show even more of his unique style and sound.
In 2022, he also won a YoungArts award for being an outstanding singer-songwriter. And he supports causes like Melody of Hope, which uses music to help people in need.
Adrian Lyles is just getting started, but his mix of talent, heart, and hard work makes it clear: he’s someone you’ll be hearing a lot more from.
