Garnet Valley Indoor Track and Field Brings Home 15 Medals at the 2025 State Championships

Congratulations to Garnet Valley’s 2025 Indoor Track and Field team who excelled at the State Championship this past Sunday, March 2nd. Held at Penn State, both the boys' and girls' teams competed exceptionally well, securing a total of 15 medals (top 8 finishers in each event received medals)!
The boys had an amazing finish in the 4x200m relay, taking second place. Jon Wert, Cole Hoffacker, Shane Miller, and Koan Sinor competed in this event, finishing only 0.6 seconds behind the first place team. Jon Wert also won a medal for finishing 6th place in the 200m race. Max David also attended States this year with the Jag’s Track and Field team to compete in the shot put.
The Lady Jags also performed well in the 4x200m relay. Avery McCrimon, Brigid Sullivan, Kendal Cottrell, and Felcia Grimmelbein competed together and placed 4th overall. Felcia Grimmelbein passed two individuals within the last 30 seconds of the race to secure the 4th place finish.
Brigid Sullivan, Felcia Grimmelbein, Avery McCrimon, and Kendal Cottrell also competed in the 4x400m relay, securing an impressive 6th place finish—what an incredible team!
In the 60m event, Avery McCrimon finished 7th place and Felicia Grimmelbein finished 8th. Izzy Tront also attended States this year with the Lady Jags and took 12th place in the high jump.
