The GV Girls' lacrosse team is running a thyroid cancer research fundraiser this year in support of current team member, Abigail Kotch. Partnering with the Bite Me Cancer foundation to support cancer research and kids currently going through treatment, the team’s game on April 10th, 2025, will have a table set up for donations. There will also be treats available for purchase, with proceeds donated to the cause.

If you are not able to make the game, there are many other ways to help. Below is a QR code to donate directly to Kotch’s Bite Me Cancer page. You can also donate through this LINK.  Any donation is a big help, no matter how much. If you are unable to donate, spreading the word by mouth or reposting the GV Girls' Lacrosse Bite Me Cancer instagram post can help encourage others to donate.

The week of April 10th, Kotch will be selling Bite Me bracelets through the high school. The cost is simply a donation. Whether you are able to give $2 or $50, you are helping the cause.

Kotch is extremely grateful for all the support Garnet Valley provided her last year. Currently in remission, she hopes GV can help support others who are struggling by donating to the Bite Me Cancer foundation. Please think about donating to support - together, Garnet Valley can make a difference!!
