Happy Summer break! As I'm sure you want to celebrate... check down below for some fun dessert recipes you can make with family or friends. If you're on the move, I challenge you to try a dessert you've never had before (check out this website to see if something catches your eyes that you could try). Enjoy!
Ice Cream
You can never go wrong with ice cream (unless you're lactose intolerant)! Whether an ice cream cake, ice cream chocolate chip sandwich, or sundae, it's a wonderful sweet treat on a hot day. Look through some of these recipes and making some! Add your own creative additions whether chocolate chips, salty pretzels, or even berries.
Berry Shortcake
Have some berries on hand? Although I've never had a shortcake, I'm sure it tastes just as delicious as it looks! Check out this recipe, an epic combination of a rich biscuit, fresh berries, and whipped cream.
Peach Cobbler
Want glorious peaches and cakey goodness on top? If you're not a fan of peaches, feel free to substitute it for apple slices. This warm dish can also be served with a nice cold scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. Although I haven't had a peach cobbler, I can say for certainty that a homemade Polish Szarlotka is delicious! Take a look at this recipe if you want to make your own Peach Cobbler.
Key Lime Pie
This tart and creamy pie is made with key lime juice, condensed milk, and a graham cracker crust. Look at this recipe for how to make this cool and silky dessert. Try this recipe (Atlantic Beach Pie) if you're a fan of lemon pie or key lime pie!
Fried Peach Pies
Pack a batch for a potluck or summer picnic! By store-bought dough and filling or make the dessert from scratch with this recipe. A peach filling enclosed in buttery flaky dough is bound to be a hit at any party.
