Met Gala 2024

On May 6th, 2024, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, the biggest fashion event of the year, the annual Met Gala, will take place. This year's theme is “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” Some are confusing this theme as being based on the Disney movie, “Sleeping Beauty”. However, this is not the case. This theme is supposed to be about bringing back old pieces of fashion. Pieces such as the iconic Monarch Butterfly dress, should be expected to be shown.
