Everyone enjoys the holiday season, but is it possible to be too excited too fast?

Though the official countdown to Christmas starts in December, some people think right after Halloween is the right time to decorate. Trees, lights, and stockings are all already up just as November begins. Some people find this bizarre, but some just want the holiday season to come as fast as it can so the celebration can last longer.

One of the most popular times to decorate for Christmas is right after Thanksgiving. Decorating at this time allows people to fully enjoy Thanksgiving, but still gives enough time to decorate before December. People can express their love for the holiday season a little early, but not at a time when it takes over other holidays like Thanksgiving.

The final time a lot of people, especially those who find themselves slacking, choose to decorate is the start or middle of December. Sometimes Thanksgiving prep and clean up can be too stressful to throw up holiday decorations the day after the big feast. Another reason people decorate so late some may find hard to believe, but sometimes Christmas isn't everyone's favorite holiday. The decorating and gift wrapping can often just be flat-out stressful for adults and others.

After Christmas is decorated, and everyone had a great time opening their presents on Christmas morning, what happens with all the lights, trees, and more? Just driving around in January, lights can still be seen outside of people's houses throughout the whole month. The real question is are people being lazy, or do people just want the holiday season to never end?

There's no right or wrong time to decorate for Christmas, it all depends on how much love people have for the season and when they want to express it!
